Welcome to 'davespodpoems.' What's this site about then? I'm Dave Finchett and this is a place where you can listen to (or download) my monthly poetry podcasts. It's not all you is it? No it's not. I have a guest on every program and podsafe music. Tell me about the format. I want to keep each show to around 20-30 minutes. I'm aiming the slot at lunchbreaks, breaktimes, bus/train journeys, and about six to twelve shirts worth of ironing. You'll get a couple of poems from me, a couple from my guest, an interview, and some music. What sort of poetry do you write? Humourous, surreal, serious, philosophical. Why a Podcast?
